About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Component Fitter for our Rebuild Centre in Mackay. You will be responsible for rebuilding heavy mobile earth moving equipment, predominantly CAT components.
Your Responsibilities
* Rebuild engines, transmissions, torque converters, wheel ends and differentials
* Diagnosing, analysing and repairing components
* Creating a safe learning environment through mentoring our trainees and apprentices
About You
* Relevant trade qualification
* Quality focused in component overhauls
* Experience working on CAT Power-train components
* Knowledgeable with CAT SIS systems and parts listings
* A proven commitment to safety
* The ability to foster a teamwork atmosphere within your work group
