About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our team in a Senior position. This role will provide support, mentorship, and supervision to biomedical engineers, focusing on the maintenance, repair, and installation of dialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting and mentoring biomedical engineers in routine repairs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting;
* Inspecting, installing, and performing inventory assessments of medical equipment;
* Providing technical assistance to clinical teams for operation and maintenance of dialysis machines;
* Maintaining accurate documentation of equipment assets, inspections, repairs incidents service schedules;Mentoring junior staff members through regular supervision; supervising university students secondments with focus towards finding practical solutions for remote communities.
