Step into a dynamic leadership role where you'll guide a busy reservations team while staying hands-on with client bookings. This full-time, on-site position is based in Brisbane and ideal for an experienced travel professional ready to combine team leadership with active travel consulting.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of a high-performing reservations team. You'll mentor consultants, monitor service levels, and ensure business KPIs are met-while also managing your own client bookings from enquiry to post-travel follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and support the reservations team to deliver high-quality service and meet targets
* Coordinate training, onboarding, and continuous performance development
* Manage daily workflows and proactively address service gaps or escalations
* Maintain reporting, oversee team admin tasks, and review payroll submissions
* Handle travel enquiries, create tailored itineraries, confirm services, and issue documentation
* Liaise with suppliers, resolve booking issues, and provide exceptional client support
* Contribute to ongoing improvements in process, service, and team performance
About You
* Experience in a team leader or senior assistant team leader role within the travel industry
* Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
* Highly organised with a customer-first mindset and commercial focus
* Confident handling end-to-end travel bookings
* Proficient in booking systems and comfortable with reporting and admin
* Willing to support occasional overseas travel for business
