About the Role:
The HR Specialist - Industrial Relations will focus on developing and maintaining HR policies centered on good corporate governance, industrial relations, and remuneration.
You will serve as a strategic advisor to management and employees on HR best practices, compliance, and effective compensation strategies, leading change across the business.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Industrial Relations:
* Act as specialist advisor for employee relations and IR matters.
* Facilitate communication between management and staff to resolve conflicts and improve workplace dynamics.
* Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and maintain positive employee relations.
* Undertake and/or manage necessary workplace investigations and mediations.
Governance:
* Develop and implement HR governance policies ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and internal standards.
* Regularly review and update HR practices to reflect modern industry trends and regulatory changes.
Remuneration:
* Design and implement competitive remuneration frameworks.
* Oversee salary reviews, benefits administration, and incentive programs.
* Analyse market trends to ensure equitable compensation packages.
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
* Proven experience in HR with a focus on governance, IR, and remuneration.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and compensation management best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
