The RSL Queensland Compensation Advocate provides advice and assistance directly to our members, their families, and the wider military community in relation to a range of claims and appeals matters with the Departments of Veterans Affairs, as well as responsive immediate welfare support.
Key responsibilities of the role include (though not limited to):
* Preparing and submitting compensation claims under supervision.
* Working within legislative and policy guidelines to document claims from Veterans.
* Case Coordination - managing and updating client files using record management systems, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Your complex problem-solving abilities and proven experience in learning, interpreting, and applying complex legislation will make your application competitive. If you bring effective case management skills in a high-volume work environment, even better.
