genU is looking for a collaborative Behaviour Support Team Leader to provide clinical support and supervision toa team of Behaviour Support Practitioners providing person-centred support to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

What you'll do
As a Behaviour Support Team Leader in our Allied Health team you'll:
Provide leadership and support to a team of 12, optimising their performance and client outcomes.
Reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practice, promote quality of life, for those who experience challenging behaviours.
Proactively participate and contribute to the development of the Allied Health team's business.
Build, strengthen and promote effective, co-operative and positive. partnerships and r elationships with internal and external providers.
Maintain involvement and contact with relevant networks,regarding potential changes to practice or legislation, which impact service delivery.
What you'll bring
Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, with experience in the management of human, financial and physical resources.
Working knowledge of NDIS including basic Quality and Safeguarding principles and core concepts and principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs and/or continuous improvement activities.
Relevant tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Social Work, or other related Healthcare discipline.
Experience working with people with disability or registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS.
Registration with AHPRA or awarding professional body where applicable
Valid Drivers Licence
(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
