Responsibilities of this role:
* Perform refuelling, greasing, and scheduled servicing of plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
* Support trades personnel with washing, servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy plant and associated components as required
* Assist other trades with general maintenance tasks when needed
* Inspect equipment during servicing and accurately report any faults or damage identified
* Complete all service records and documentation to a high standard
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and supporting implementation
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and actively promote a positive safety culture onsite
Requirements for this role:
* Proven experience working as a Service Person within the mining industry
* RIISAM212D – Service Mine Plant and Equipment (or willingness to obtian)
* Current HR driver’s licence
* RIIVEH307 – Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle (VOC) – highly regarded
* RIIVEH306 – Operate a Mine Service Vehicle (VOC) – highly regarded
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain – assistance available)
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
