Specialist Therapist - Gambling Harm Support
We are seeking a skilled Specialist Therapist to deliver specialist therapeutic interventions via face-to-face, telephone, and online methods to support individuals, couples, families, and groups affected by gambling harm.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide therapeutic counselling to individuals, couples, families, and groups affected by gambling harm via face-to-face, telephone, and online modalities.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
* Deliver services in line with the program framework, including intake, assessment, and evidence-based interventions.
* Facilitate group support sessions to address gambling harm in the community.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records and data.
Requirements for Success:
* Degree in Psychology or Counselling.
* Current membership of a relevant professional body or association.
* Proven experience in therapeutic counselling across various settings.
* A strong understanding of gambling-related harm and its challenges.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement tailored treatment plans supporting client recovery and wellbeing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
