About the Role
We are currently seeking passionate Pen Riders and Cattle Handlers to join our hard working animal health team.
Key responsibilities of the role include daily livestock handling tasks such as pen riding and stock movements, diagnosing animal health symptoms, and administering appropriate treatments.
The role also involves maintaining accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements, while ensuring strict compliance with JBS Australia's policies, including Work Health and Safety (WHS), Human Resources (HR), Quality Assurance (QA), Animal Welfare, and Environmental obligations.
What\'s in it for you?
The entry level hourly rate is $29.50. Pen Riders receive an additional $1 per hour if all requirements are met. Excellent horse care allowance package with feed and agistment are also provided, as well as stables and paddock facilities, ongoing farrier services, horse feed and vaccinations.
