Our school seeks a highly skilled Culinary Leader to oversee the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals for students and staff.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting healthy eating habits and fostering a positive food culture within our schools. This involves delivering the Healthy School Lunch program, preparing and serving meals, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhering to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the Healthy School Lunch program in assigned schools.
* Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals for children and staff.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
Award-winning experience in food service management or related fields is essential. Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead teams effectively are also crucial. A valid Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with employment status is mandatory. Relevant qualifications in food preparation/production are desirable.
