ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) are seeking applications from highly motivated and conscientious people to fill the position of Information and Business Systems Administration Officer within the Information, Security and Business Solutions Unit (ISBSU). The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day administration and operational support of Offender Digital Systems (ODS) at the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC), as well as contributing to the broader administration and support of ACTCS business systems such as CSIMS, SharePoint, and other operational platforms. To be successful, applicants should demonstrate proven experience managing and supporting digital and operational technology systems in secure environments, strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, and high-level conceptual and analytical abilities. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and experience with platforms such as SharePoint and CSIMS, or the ability to acquire these skills quickly, is highly desirable. Further to this, you will administer, maintain, and secure ACTCS business systems and digital platforms, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements, and maintain accurate records of system performance and incidents in accordance with the Territory Records Act 2002. In addition, you will provide onsite support, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues related to offender-facing technologies. Eligibility/Other requirements: Qualifications or demonstrated experience in system administration, offender digital systems, or ICT support highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms. Experience with system documentation tools (e.g. Microsoft Visio) and digital content tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) desirable, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills. The successful candidate may be required to undergo a criminal history check and obtain a security clearance appropriate to working in a correctional environment. To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACTPS you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa. If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACTPS will be terminated.
