About the Retail Operations Manager Role
A strategic and results-driven individual, you will excel in leadership, operational management, coordination, and identifying opportunities for growth and development within retail operations.
As a key member of the team, you will provide guidance and support to nurture the performance and participation of the Op Shop Team in retail management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of staff who manage multiple retail stores, fostering collaboration and driving success.
* Financial acumen, including budget setting/monitoring and interpreting financial reports to inform business decisions.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with charitable recycling organisations to drive mutual benefits.
* Negotiating commercial leases and building strong partnerships with landlords/real estate agents.
* Managing small projects within the business, balancing concurrent tasks and prioritising objectives.
* Implementing practices for recycled/donated clothes and goods, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
* Strategic and Business Planning, driving organisational growth and success.
* Understanding of working with volunteers, leveraging their contributions and expertise to enhance team outcomes.
* Monitoring and improving team performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance individual capabilities.
* Experience in opening new stores, contributing to business expansion and growth.
