We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Contract Lead to support the delivery of a major sustaining capital project. This role is suited to a commercially astute individual with strong intrapersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally with a background in large construction or mining projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of the contracting and sourcing strategy for the assigned project Manage the full lifecycle of contractor engagement from procurement through to contract close-out Handle contract administration including compliance, claims (EOTs and variations), and dispute resolution Build and maintain positive, values-driven relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors Influence and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and project controls to drive commercially sound decisions Contribute to broader procurement team objectives by leveraging opportunities and sharing insights across the group Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Degree qualified in Commerce, Business, Law or Engineering or relevant industry Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement and contracts on large-scale construction or major mining projects Demonstrated ability to manage contractor relationships to ensure successful project outcomes Sound knowledge of claims management, particularly EOTs and variations Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong ability to work independently while also contributing within a wider team Capability to influence stakeholders and contribute commercial value in a technically driven environment This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading
