Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
* Analyse demand, competitors, and regulations to inform project strategy
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and viability
* Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to support project development
* Prepare proposals, presentations, and business cases for stakeholders
* Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
* Build and maintain relationships with partners and suppliers to enhance collaboration
* Develop market entry and expansion strategies for new projects
* Bid for small or ad-hoc projects to diversify business opportunities
Skills or Qualifications
* 1+ years' experience in business development
* Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution Line technologies, processes, and regulations
* Strong analytical skills to build clear and compelling business cases
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability
