Gascoyne Outreach Service (GOS), part of Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS), is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Counsellor to join our team in Carnarvon.
This role is about walking alongside community — supporting clients with complex needs through culturally safe, trauma-informed care and holistic wellbeing support.
About the Role
You will:
* Manage a clinical caseload of clients with high and complex needs.
* Provide individual counselling and support.
* Facilitate group programs and healing activities.
* Maintain accurate case notes and documentation.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
* Travel across the Midwest, Murchison and Gascoyne regions as required.
* Experience managing complex caseloads.
* Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
* Effective organisational and time management skills
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass Drug & Alcohol screening.
* Willingness to work outside normal business hours when required.
* Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is recognised by community.
* Diploma in Narrative Therapy
* Diploma level or higher qualification in a relevant field
