As our next Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse operations (with the exception of the coffee roasting process) including receiving, storage, packing, inventory management, order fulfilment, distribution and dispatch while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
The Warehouse Manager will lead a small team of dedicated warehouse staff, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires a hands-on approach, excellent organisational skills, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to ensuring a high standard of workplace and health and safety is maintained.
Key tasks for this position include:
* Preparing and packing coffee products for shipment
* Organising and stacking stock and deliveries
* Ensuring all orders are packed and fulfilled as per invoice
* Maintaining a high level of quality control by ensuring damaged or defective products, or incorrect items are identified and corrected before consignment
* Preparation of cold coffee bottled drinks such as cold brew and iced coffee
* Inventory management and reporting
To be considered for the Warehouse Manager position you will have the following:
* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar position (coffee roastery/warehouse preferential)
* Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring efficient warehouse operations
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff by setting examples of superior teamwork, communication and professionalism
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
* Clearly and politely communicates with others in a respectful manner that help one's audience understand what is being conveyed
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
* Well presented, approachable, cheerful and sociable manner
