Personal Care Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Professional to join our team at Bracken House Hostel in the Western Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred care duties, assisting with medication and wound dressing (if medication competent), and supporting daily living activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards) and excellent communication skills. Experience in Aged Care is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will also need to have a current First Aid Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing person-centred care duties
* Assisting with medication and wound dressing (if medication competent)
* Supporting daily living activities
* Working with each resident to continue doing things they love
Requirements:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)
* Excellent communication skills
* Care skills driven by compassion
* Experience in Aged Care desirable
* Current First Aid Certificate desirable
