Reproductive Health Specialist Opportunity
This role focuses on delivering reproductive and sexual health services at state-of-the-art facilities in Newcastle.
* Develop procedural skills in contraceptive implant and IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, vasectomy, and surgical abortion.
* Participate in flexible working arrangements to provide professional education through clinical supervision, lectures, webinars, and community of practice.
The Medical Officer will work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high clinical standards and provide quality care to clients.
Key Requirements:
* A primary medical degree with current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner (VR) or Specialist Sexual Health Physician.
* A Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health (or equivalent).
* Broad-based clinical experience with previous experience in reproductive and sexual health.
* Skills in LARC insertion (implant and/or IUD) or willingness to be trained in same.
