Brief Description
ABOUT THE ROLE....
The Ten Tops assistant's main responsibility is to ensure their section/store is adequately stocked, well merchandised, and presented to maximize sales while providing excellent customer service at all times, including possible operation of the register if required. In a small team, you will need to be skilled across all areas.
Requirements
Responsibilities include:
1. Strong culture of safety at all times including the correct use of carton cutter, ladders & trolleys.
2. Undertake the department's procedures as per the Ten Tops standard.
3. Effective communication. Ask questions if you are not sure.
4. Provide customer service to our valued clients, efficiently and accurately.
5. Ensure a high level of merchandising and presentation standards with your work area at all times.
6. Stock, replenish, and rotate shelves and displays. Rotation is paramount.
7. Ensure your working area is contained. Trolleys, ladders, and boxes to one side (neat & tidy) so you don’t create a trip hazard or impede customer flow.
8. Section off – and clean up all liquid spills immediately.
9. Operate and balance cash register.
10. Have a high standard of presentation with yourself & uniform.
11. Ensure a happy workplace where people love to come and work.
12. Follow instructions of managers at all times.
13. Assist with product selection as/if required.
14. Cleaning duties as required.
15. Be happy, punctual & reliable.
