Our team develops and implements governance frameworks, monitors risk, and coordinates input to reports and briefs to support our stakeholders in meeting their internal and external reporting obligations.
We engage with external Legal Service Providers (LSP) on behalf of our organization and support the Director Legal Practice Management to allocate matters and monitor LSP performance.
Job Description
The Practice Support Officer is responsible for assisting the Assistant Directors and Director Legal Practice Management with cross-functional initiatives, legal group governance, and corporate reporting, coordination, supporting continuous improvement, developing and reviewing policies and procedures, and contributing to the development of team objectives for short-term tasks, work plans, and strategic initiatives.
The Practice Support Officer will exercise judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in the management of sensitive information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Mandatory: Demonstrated experience in administrative and coordination support roles.
- Desirable: Understanding of the legal environment and tribunal and court processes.
