Why the role?
We have an exciting 12‑month contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant looking to step up and broaden their impact. Ideally Adelaide‑based, this role supports the firm nationally and provides close exposure to the Chief Financial Officer and senior leadership.
What does the job involve?

Lead trust accounting and compliance functions, ensuring all trust accounts operate in line with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements
Oversee accounts receivable and financial controls, including billing, collections, reporting, and strengthening internal controls to manage risk
Deliver meaningful financial reporting and insights to support strategic and operational decision‑making
Manage core accounting operations, including general ledger oversight, month‑end/year‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting
Drive continuous improvement and team capability, optimising finance processes, supporting audits, and mentoring junior team members
Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
CA/CPA preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong stakeholder management skills, especially at an executive level
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with Elite 3E would be highly regarded but is not essential
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools to support financial activities
