About
the RoleUnder broad oversight of the Manager Parks
& Conservation Management, this position leads and manages the
Parks Operations Sub Unit by applying specialist knowledge in parks
operations management. The role is responsible for fostering a
positive and inclusive culture within a large, diverse workforce
while implementing efficient work scheduling and resource
management practices. By leveraging technical expertise, you will
design and implement safe, effective workflows that deliver
high-quality outcomes aligned with the City's corporate
objectives and evolving organisational
needs.
About you We are seeking a suitably qualified and
experienced individual to join our Parks and Conservation
Management Team in this exciting and challenging role.
You
will be an experienced leader with strong people management skills
and a proven ability to build a collaborative, high-performing
culture across a diverse team. Your qualifications and extensive
knowledge in turf and horticultural maintenance will be
complemented by your capability in planning, scheduling, and
optimising resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery of
parks maintenance services.
