As an AO6 Senior Procurement Officer, you will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and working collaboratively, contributing to broad functions including - planning, market analysis, cost analysis, data analysis, risk management, demand management, supplier performance management, sub-category performance, sourcing activities, forecasting and the development of forward procurement pipelines.
What you will be doing:
As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for:
• Facilitating and participating in cross agency working groups, accountable for the delivery of category plans.
• Planning and delivering key industry and customer forums and workshops.
• Developing contract management plans and managing supplier contractual performance, including novation's, contract variations and performance against KPI's.
• Ensuring buyers guides and other category related content is up to date, accurate and user friendly.
• Managing daily communications and resolving customer and supplier issues.
• Using Excel, Power BI and other systems to collate, and analyse data, informing sound decision making.
• Contributing to key sourcing initiatives in the sub-category, including the development of tendering documents, pre-tendering industry engagement, evaluation and implementation.
