genU is looking for Overnight Sleep - Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

Please review the roster included before applying:

• Support person‐centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and working to achieve them;
• Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration;
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
• Administration duties and mandatory reporting

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher (or working towards one)
• Proven experience supporting people living with disability is essential
• Experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans
• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities
• Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
• Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
• Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience
• A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate)

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
