Career progression
Due to their experience and training, our graduates can progress their careers very quickly. Eighty-seven percent of graduates completing the program stay on to be employed by the Queensland Government post-program. Our graduates' salaries can increase up to $27,000 (based at AO5 level) or more after completing the 2-year program.
1. The exact salary will be determined as per the applicable enterprise bargaining agreement. As an indicator, the minimum AO3 rate under the State Government Entities Certified Agreements **** as at 1 July **** is $76,217.
2. Working week hours may vary depending on the applicable enterprise bargaining agreement.

What you'll be doing
Enterprise officergraduates take a holistic view of an organisation—in the Queensland Government that may be a single department or across the whole of government.
A graduate enterprise officer undertakes analysis and builds enterprise-wide approaches. They focus on organisational alignment and synergies, linking what needs to be done with how it is done. They focus on processes, supporting information and technologies and who does what.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities in an Enterprise officer role may include:
using your modelling skills to understand complex organisational issues
gathering and analysing information and recommend future direction
assisting to identify opportunities for rationalisation, sharing and reuse
being involved in enterprise-wide impact analysis of proposed changes
ensuring the alignment of IT strategy and planning with agency business goals
developing policies and guidelines that direct the use of IT in government.
Ideal candidates
Ideal candidates for an Enterprise officer role will have:
conceptualisation skills and think strategically
high level modelling skills
good interpersonal and communication skills
an objective approach to problem solving with attention to detail.
Technical skills and qualifications
Knowledge of:
broad range of modelling skills including business process modelling
systems analysis and design
hardware and software development and configuration.
Your degree may be in information technology or business.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Digital Graduate Program, you must:
Have completed (or will complete) aBachelor's, Graduate Certificate, or Master's degreebetween January-**** and December ****. If you have an overseas qualification, it must be recognised in Australia prior to applying. Learn more about the Qualifications Recognition process ()
Hold a degree in one of these fields:
Information Technology and related fields:Information technology, cloud computing, cyber security, computer science, data analytics, robotics, information management, mathematics, software or systems engineering.
Emerging Technologies and AI:Artificial intelligence, automation development.
Strategic Management and Business:Business, marketing, or project management.
Design and Creative Industries:Web and multimedia design, user experience (UX) or interactive design.
International students
currently residing in Australia must also have:
Unrestricted working rights in Australiauntil at least February ****. This includes:
Permanent Residency, citizenship, or work-related visas (e.g., Temporary Graduate 485 Visa) that permit full-time, unrestricted work.
Evidence of transitioning to unrestricted working rights (if on a bridging visa).
