Network Engineer (Level 2) – 6-Month Contract | Onsite Perth

We're seeking a skilled Network Engineer (level-2) to join a large-scale network refresh project at our client's in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Juniper networks to play a critical role in maintaining and uplifting the client's infrastructure.
The Role
As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for both BAU support and project-based activities, with a strong focus on incident/ticket resolution, patching, and remediation. You'll work within an open and collaborative team structure, reporting directly to the Network Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day BAU support, including incident and ticket resolution.
* Perform network patching, upgrades, and remediation activities.
* Support the ongoing network refresh project leveraging Juniper technologies.
* Escalate issues when required, while managing mid-level engineering responsibilities independently.
* Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth network operations.
Technical Environment
* Core Technology: Juniper (primary platform).
* Ticketing Tool: ServiceNow.
* Cloud Networking: Not required.
What We're Looking For
* Hands-on experience with Juniper networking technologies.
* Proven track record in network patching and remediation.
* Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
* Industry background: open to candidates from any sector.
Engagement Details
* Start Date: ASAP.
* Location: Onsite – Joondalup, Perth.
* Hours: Standard business hours.
* Duration: 6 months (with possible extension).
* Clearance: No clearance or background check required.
