We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join the Maintenance team at Korvest Ltd
Your new role:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for maximising uptime and reliability of production equipment through efficient and effective maintenance planning. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling Korvest maintenance activities, coordinating with both internal teams and external contractors, managing contractors on-site and supporting equipment troubleshooting to reduce downtime and ensure a smooth, efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a schedule for all Korvest maintenance activities.
- Create, track, and close maintenance work orders
- Manage and coordinate on-site contractors for planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians and production teams to schedule repairs and minimise disruption to production schedules.
- Understanding of machinery to support communication with contractors completing repairs and inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Assist with planning for spare parts procurement, tools, and resources for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
You will bring:
- Experience in a maintenance or production planning, scheduling, or a coordination role within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of mechanical systems to assist in troubleshooting and communicating concerns with contractors
- Highly organised with excellent communication and administrative skills.
- Time management skills with an ability to prioritise and handle several different tasks at the same time
- Working knowledge of safety requirements within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- (desirable) Experience coordinating and managing third-party contractors on-site.
- (desirable) Qualifications or relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
