We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Remedial Construction to join the team
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial projects and optimal engineering solutions. This position is a full-time ongoing position, based in Osborne Park, Western Australia 6017.
Main Tasks
* Project Planning: Developing a comprehensive project plan, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for site workers, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
* Budgeting and Cost Management: Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
* Resource Management: Identifying and allocating the necessary resources, such as labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth project execution.
* Risk Management: Assessing potential risks and developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimise adverse impacts on projects.
* Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintaining effective communication channels with clients, contractors, team members, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
* Health and Safety: Promoting and enforcing a safe working environment throughout projects in accordance with safety regulations and standards through regular safety inspections.
Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience
* Minimum of a relevant degree, and at least a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the industry.
Skills & Knowledge
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with respect to contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
* Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management is necessary to ensure projects are delivered within allocated budgets and to monitor project financials throughout the lifecycle.
* A strong technical background in construction, building materials, and remedial techniques is beneficial.
* Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and industry standards is important for ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality work.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
