As the Property and Land Data Specialist, you will provide expert support in the management, analysis and documentation of land and property data within Council's Pathway (Infor) system. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, reliability and long‐term sustainability of data that supports statutory planning and other key Council functions.
In this role, you will analyse and maintain data configurations, identify and help mitigate data and system risks and develop clear documentation that supports decision‐making, training and knowledge sharing. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to support planning‐related projects, system optimisation and future‐state data models.
You will assist with maintaining Council's property register and the production of Planning Certificates, while contributing to continuous improvement in how land and property information is managed across the organisation.
You are a detail‐focused professional who enjoys working with complex information and improving how data is structured and used. You are comfortable analysing existing systems, including legacy environments, and can identify risks and develop practical, evidence‐based solutions.
You communicate clearly, can explain technical concepts to non‐technical stakeholders and manage competing priorities while maintaining service continuity. You must also meet the following criteria:
* A diploma in information management, data management, spatial systems, planning or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
* Experience managing land and property data within enterprise systems such as Pathway (Infor) or similar
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data models and configurations
* Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
Experience in local government or statutory planning, system transformation, or data improvement initiatives will be highly regarded.
