Make an impact at Serco
As a Dentist working casually at Oakey Health Centre, you'll provide a full range of dental services including emergency treatments, general exams, preventative care, restorations, minor oral surgery, x-rays, extractions, root canals, and prosthodontics.
You'll work closely with medical officers, nursing staff, and specialist dental providers to deliver high-quality care, helping personnel stay dentally fit for deployment in line with Defence policies.
About Oakey Health Centre
Oakey Health Centre is located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC), just 3km outside Oakey. The centre supports around 500 personnel and serves as the training area for Australian Army Aviation. It's also home to the 126 Squadron (Cougar helicopters) of the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
The centre offers primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical, and mental health services, and acts as an emergency response centre for AAC. Staff may be asked to work across both Cabarlah and Oakey locations. Operating hours are generally 07:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday, with shift lengths depending on role requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Australian citizenship (or eligibility for Commonwealth Security Clearance)
* Current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as a General Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) postgraduate clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years
* Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities as required by AHPRA
