A key part of the role is providing product and inventory support to network sales teams. This includes supplying product information, availability insights, inventory status, and tools that help them sell confidently and serve customers effectively. The role also works closely with inventory and forecasting teams to support new product launches and stock planning, while helping track and deliver key performance outcomes across category sales, profitability, and inventory health.
Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the rollout of category plans and provide updates on progress, results, and required actions.
* Support analysis that highlights gaps between current performance and target outcomes.
* Share category objectives, updates, and product information with internal stakeholders and suppliers
* Provide stores and network sales teams with clear product and category information that helps them drive sales and support customers.
* Help review category ranges and identify slow‐moving or redundant products for follow‐up
* Work with inventory and forecasting teams by supplying accurate product details that support stock planning
* Work with other departments and stakeholders to share updates on product ranging decisions, catalogue activity, and new merchandise initiatives.
* Assist with setting up new product ranges, including gathering pricing and product information, and help the field sales team with the details they need to range, support and promote these products in store.
* Support stakeholders by helping coordinate the information, tools and resources they need to deliver on category and business priorities.
* Contribute positively to team culture by demonstrating the company's values in day‐to‐day work and interactions.
About you:
* Experience in a sales or product‐focused role, with exposure to category management or product administration, is highly regarded.
* Automotive aftermarket experience is helpful but not essential for candidates with strong transferable skills.
* Experience working with multisite businesses or environments that rely on central distribution is beneficial
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with suppliers and trade partners and help support ongoing relationships.
* Experience or exposure to category development, inventory processes, or sourcing activities, either locally or through assisting with overseas buying.
