**The role**:
Reporting directly to our CEO, you will bring a strategic and creative insight to our company's communication and marketing.
Working collaboratively with Executive and Senior leadership, you are responsible for the development and the implementation of the marketing and communication action plan.
You will lead the growth of our community engagement and advocacy programs to achieve gateways key strategic objectives.
Managing a Marketing & Digital Communication Officer for the delivery of digital content, projects and campaigns.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the media strategy, community engagement, government advocacy, publications and marketing, and strategic external and internal communications.
- Leadership on media, issues and crisis management.
- Under direction of the CEO, create and deliver high quality, strategic communications plans.
- Create and edit high quality content for an extensive range of corporate communication channels including website, social media, Annual Report, and printed and digital publications.
- Measure and report on impact, performance and penetration as well as other appropriate metrics
**About you**:
- You present a solid marketing and communications experience and expertise.
- You have developed strong project management and organisational skills. You have the ability to strategically plan and manage multiple projects, resources and priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- You lead successful negotiations and manage agency contracts.
- You can build a strong partnership, consultation and collaboration with the team and core business.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, focused and resilient, in an issues rich, demanding environment that is highly dynamic, and reflects the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience to draft professional on brand internal communications, media communications, print material and strong creative and innovation ability.
- You have a high level of technical skills and knowledge of various software and web design, specific to marketing and communications.
