As a leader in our contractor services group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient provision of resources to achieve service objectives.
The successful candidate will have primary accountability for leading contractors and contracted services, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing contractor functions including safety management, meeting requirements of CRPs, minimising environmental impact, cost accountability and reduction initiatives
* Driving maintenance quantity and quality to ensure targets are met
* Developing the maintenance/work schedule each year based on government approvals
* Seeking opportunities for streamlining maintenance plans
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* Extensive experience in heavy industry, resources industry or a process environment
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholders
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (highly regarded but not essential)
* Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to demonstrate conflict resolution and negotiation skills
