We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Payroll and Administration Officer to join our team. This varied role provides essential support across payroll processing and general administrative functions and is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll
* Process weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Maintain accurate employee records and payroll documentation
* Ensure payroll processes comply with relevant legislation and company policies
* Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, document management
* Coordinate office supplies and support day-to-day operations
* Respond to phone enquiries and assist with communication across departments
* Assist the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence
* Support with HR-related tasks and undertake ad-hoc duties as required
* Assist with social media marketing, particularly Facebook and other platforms, to enhance our online presence
Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a payroll and/or administration role (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of payroll systems and Australian employment legislation (advantage)
* Experience or aptitude in social media marketing (desirable)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
