About the Role
As Venue Manager, you'll be at the heart of creating an exceptional customer experience and a thriving team culture. Leading from the front, you'll inspire and support your team to deliver outstanding service, drive performance, and build a strong sense of community.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
* Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and make timely decisions.
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Proficient in using various hospitality management software and point‑of‑sale systems.
* A thorough understanding of health, safety, and licensing regulations applicable to the hospitality industry.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team.
* Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, creating unique events and exceptional customer service.
* Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost controls are in place.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.
* Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.
Qualifications
* RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)
* Approved Manager's License
* Gaming Nomination & License
* QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
* QLD RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)
* Food Safety Supervisor
