About Site Overview- Conveyors to Storage Sheds: Urea may be routed either to the Site Storage Shed (75,000-tonne capacity) or directly to the Over-Land Conveyor (~6 km) feeding the Port Storage Shed (65,000-tonne capacity).

Job Description: Urea Solid Handling Operator (Urea Plant)
1) Solid Handling Operations:
-Operate and monitor conveying systems, transfer points, dust control, belt scales, and magnetic detectors.
- Operate stacker and reclaimer systems in local, remote, and automatic modes.
2) Routine Checks & Reporting:
-Conduct routine field inspections of conveyors, motors, pulleys, chutes, dust filters, and lubrication systems.
- Record operating parameters and complete digital logs, checklists, and handover notes.
3) Equipment Inspection & Maintenance Support:
- Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting and corrective actions. Support isolations per Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Certificate III/IV, Trade Qualification, or Diploma in Process Plant, Bulk Handling, Mechanical/Electrical trade (advantage).
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience in bulk solids handling such as urea, grain, coal, minerals, iron ore, or bauxite.
- Experience with stackers/reclaimers, long-distance conveyors, and ship/port loading systems.
