Registrar / Senior Registrar, Queensland Health
Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking a Registrar or Senior Registrar to join the team within the North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service in Townsville on a fixed term temporary part-time basis, up to 12 months.
The Persistent Pain Management Service provides support, education and therapy with the goal of helping patients make sense of their pain and make the most of their lives.
About the work unit / facility:
The North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service (NQPPMS) provides support, education and therapy with the goal of helping patients make sense of their pain and make the most of their lives. NQPPMS is a level 1 accredited service with the Faculty of Pain Medicine.

* Salary range: $65.35 to $91.84 p.h. (L4 to L13)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:
Provide high quality clinical care to patients of the North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service within The Townsville Hospital and Health Service, supervision of junior medical staff including inpatient care and will include some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff, medical students and allied health staff.
Role Requirements:
* Accepted into recognised vocational college training program relevant to the speciality.
* If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight (L4-L7).
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance.
