This is a growing space with vast demand for computing power given the rise in AI.What You'll Do:Ensure monthly financial position accurately reflect the operations of the business by conducting financial month end - doing reconciliation of revenue and cost schedules and posting monthly journal entries as required.Be able to convey financial measures into operational language for easy to digest information and actionable steps for the operation teams.Support operation team with client conversations using the knowledge of the P&L and Balance Sheet. Being across the commercial terms of the contract and understand how this flows into the P&L.Have strong interest and understanding of the business to anticipate requests for senior management and providing financial insight prior to request being made.Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.Manage P&Ls across APAC getting valuable exposure to drivers of P&L in countries like Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting.Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Employ a growth and entrepreneur mindset.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.What You'll Need:Given the involvement of one of the fastest growing industry (Data Centres and AI), having a growth mindset and entrepreneurial curiosity and personality is crucial.A professional qualification (CA or CPA) preferred with 3-5 years post qualification experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.In‐depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Systems experience in iScala, Peoplesoft, JDE, mybuy preferred but not necessary.Knowledge of financial information transfer across systems preferred.Intermediate math skills.
