We are currently seeking an Despatch and Receivals Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced Dispatch & Receival professional with a strong understanding of checking, recording, labelling; unloading and loading incoming and outgoing materials and product shipments.

Reporting to the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager, your primary responsibilities will include checking, recording, labelling; unloading and loading incoming and outgoing materials and product shipments,including:

Reporting to the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

· Count, weigh or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments

· Examine, unpack and label incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items

· Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage area

· Regularly enter inventory data into tracking database/software on a timely basis

· Perform regular material audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly

· Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing the tracking database/software

· Verify,track & process the return of returnable items such as pallets and crates to ensure costs are minimised

This role offers a unique opportunity to blend typical despatch responsibilities with in-depth involvement in packing shed operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the logistics and daily packing shed operation.

Requirements:

· Minimum 1–2 years' experience as an Despatch and Receivals Clerk

· Basic understanding of unloading and loading incoming and outgoing materials

· Demonstrated ability to manage time so that all matters are dealt with according to plans and timelines

· Basic understanding in Outlook and Microsoft Excel
