Job Title: Yard Truck Driver
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering trailers within the depot, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
1. Safely position trailers/vehicles in a timely manner as requested by the control room.
2. Ensure the yard area is managed to enable safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
3. Promote best practices and report non-compliance.
4. Drive company tug vehicles safely and courteously in accordance with site rules.
5. Report vehicle accidents or mechanical defects to the control room or supervisor.
6. Take responsible action to ensure safety and security of vehicles, equipment, and goods.
7. Perform daily vehicle checks following procedure.
8. Ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles between parking and loading bays.
