We are partnering with Design Process, a specialist engineering consultancy recognised for delivering high‐value solutions across mineral processing, mining infrastructure and heavy industry. With a strong track record supporting complex operational environments and investment programs across greenfield and brownfield assets, the business continues to expand and is seeking a Lead Civil / Structural Engineer to strengthen its technical depth and leadership capability.
Reporting to the Principal Civil / Structural Engineer, you will own discipline leadership across a portfolio of technically challenging and concurrently delivered projects. This role suits a hands‐on senior engineer who values autonomy, technical authority, and the opportunity to influence delivery frameworks while contributing to the ongoing growth of a respected consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead civil and structural engineering across a multi‐project portfolio
* Provide technical governance and oversight to multidisciplinary teams
* Ensure consistent, high‐quality and timely engineering outputs
* Guide structural design, inspections, assessments, and remediation solutions
* Manage discipline inputs into project budgets, schedules, and progress reporting
* Develop and maintain discipline standards, methodologies and documentation
* Mentor engineers and support capability uplift across the team
About you
Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Chartered status (CPEng / RPEQ) or ability to obtain
* Strong background in heavy industrial structural engineering
* Highly capable in structural design and foundation systems
* Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering delivery
* Effective communicator with strong analytical and problem‐solving ability
* Willingness to undertake occasional travel as required
