Assistant Coordinator Position
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant Coordinator. This position will involve supporting the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the service, as well as managing a team of Educators.
About the Role
* Develop high-quality programs that meet the needs of our children
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly
* Support the Coordinator with staff management, providing guidance and direction when needed
* Evaluate and implement policies to ensure compliance and maintain quality standards
* Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
* Foster strong relationships with families and the school community, providing exceptional customer service
Requirements
* A relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma in Children Services)
* Demonstrated experience in programming and a passion for delivering high-quality childcare
* Effective administration and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
* Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
* Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain
* NQF knowledge would be advantageous
