Key responsibilities include:
* Processing accurate, timely end to end weekly payroll
* Validating timesheets, allowances, deductions, leave and approvals
* Interpreting EBAs, awards and industrial instruments
* Maintaining payroll master data, employee records and contract documentation
* Preparing payroll reports and payroll related reconciliations
* Managing payments to the ATO, super funds and other statutory bodies
* Supporting onboarding and ensuring new starter documentation is correct
* Responding to employee and manager payroll queries
* Keeping processes audit ready and contributing to improvements
What RFT is looking for
* At least 5 years end to end payroll experience
* Strong knowledge of EBAs, awards, legislation, taxation and superannuation
* Experience with weekly, high volume and multi award payrolls
* Confident with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Experience with HR3 is helpful but not essential
* Accurate, reliable and deadline focussed
* Professional, approachable and comfortable working with staff at all levels
