Job Responsibilities
* Mentor, train, communicate, and supervise production staff while working across a diverse product range.
* Lead the assembly team to achieve customer delivery dates safely and to the expected quality standard.
* Communicate with various departments within the organization to ensure correct information is obtained to reach the desired product outcome.
* Conduct regular meetings with the workshop team, attend production meetings, and participate in error diagnosis discussions.
* Ensure all items are assembled correctly and that the quality assurance process is adhered to.
* Assist the Operations Manager with updating site scheduling, reporting, and resolving schedule obstacles.
* Develop and assist with workshop procedures to ensure adherence.
* Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
* Able to interpret technical workshop drawings.
* Possess a valid driver's license.
* DG, RB or RI licenses advantageous.
* Holding a qualification as a Fitter (Cert 3 Engineering – Mechanical trade) is preferred.
