Drake Trades & Technical are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics with a background in heavy vehicle and plant servicing, repairs and maintenance. This opportunity will suit mechanics who enjoy working autonomously, take pride in quality workmanship and have a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fault finding, diagnostics, servicing and repairs across various equipment types
* Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns
* Follow preventative maintenance schedules and safety standards
* Record maintenance and repair work accurately
* Work on site or off site as required
About You:
* Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with minimum 3 years' experience
* Experience across trucks, trailers, heavy machinery, mobile plant, or rail highly regarded
* Construction White Card
* Forklift licence (preferred)
* Committed to safety and quality workmanship
