As a key leader within Cube Networks' Managed Services team, you will guide a high-performing group of L2 and L3 Network & Security engineers. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality Integrated Services Management for some of Australia's premier companies, adhering to ITIL best practices and SLA Management disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a strong IT background, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to excellence. Your ability to blend technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills will be crucial in driving team performance and delivering exceptional service within our ITIL-driven environment.
Strong experience in Palo Alto and Juniper is a must for this role.
Primary Objectives: -
Leadership and Team Management:
* Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through clear expectations, constructive feedback and performance recognition.
* Actively mentor team members offering guidance and opportunities for professional growth.
* Manage escalations and maintain optimal team coverage for adherence to SLAs.
Performance Management and Reporting:
* Monitor individual performance and develop targeted growth plans.
* Ensure team meets KPIs and SLAs.
* Provide regular team performance updates to senior management.
Service Delivery and ITIL Implementation:
* Oversee seamless Integrated Services Management across key ITIL disciplines.
* Manage customer ticket queues, deliverables and coordinate interconnected tasks.
* Develop understanding of client-specific processes to enhance service delivery.
Technical – Mandatory
:
* Fortinet certifications.
* PAN PCNSE certification and experience in large rule-base environments.
* Palo Alto Prisma Access certification.
* Certification, and experience in ITIL in creating/modifying processes to align w/ ITIL best practices.
* Experience in using Service Now.
* Experience in Network Management (i.e. SolarWinds and Nagios).
Technical – Desirable
:
Relevant current industry certifications are essential in 2 or more of the following
1. Cisco Certifications – CCNP, CCIE, etc
2. Juniper Certifications – JNCIA, JNCIE
3. Palo Alto Certifications – PCNSE
4. ITIL certification (essential)
