Job Title: Product Technical Leadership Role
Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will lead and develop a group of technical experts, responsible for delivering high-quality engineering and technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
This role manages a diverse team of approximately 20 engineers and technical specialists who support pre-sales activities, project execution, spare parts quality, modernization upgrades and product improvement initiatives.
The Manager Product Experts' Group will drive strategic alignment between the team, product specialists, sales and sales support functions, ensuring strong service levels, operational effectiveness and continuous improvement to support business growth ambitions and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely, high-quality engineering and technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
* Drive excellence in spare parts technical management, machine upgrade design, drafting and documentation standards.
* Lead product improvement initiatives and strengthen customer satisfaction through technical capability & expertise, responsiveness, and quality.
* Working with other leaders, develop strategic initiatives that will improve market position of aftermarket offerings.
* Integrate the team effectively within the organisation and ensure correct resourcing, capability growth and compliance with standards.
* Provide direct engineering input when required.
Skills & Experience:
* Demonstrated leadership and people-management capability, including coaching, delegation and accountability.
* Strong ability to prioritise, analyse problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
* Relevant engineering degree with a minimum of eight years' experience in mechanical or technical management roles, preferably within mining or mineral processing.
* Experience leading engineering teams, aftermarket support or product improvement programs across regions and time zones.

Requirements:
* An engineering degree.
