Our client is on the lookout for a Management Accountant who can expertly oversee financial operations & transactions, translate data into actionable insights aligned with company objectives, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory/statutory requirements, handle employee payroll, and assess financial risks.

What You'll Do
* Analyse financial data to evaluate performance, prepare monthly management accounts and provide insightful commentary to guide strategic direction
* Develop budgets, create forecasts and monitor actual performance against these benchmarks
* Monitor and analyse costs; identify inefficiencies, risks and recommend cost-effective solutions or mitigation strategies
* Provide financial insights and advice to support strategic planning and growth initiatives
* Oversee internal accounting procedures, participate in/conduct audits, and ensure financial procedures and policies are fit for purpose
* Manage weekly employee payroll, coordinate reporting and tax filings, and ensure compliance across the board
About You
Your will present as a dynamic, innovative leader that models professionalism, a supportive nature and will be committed to continuous improvement. You'll be a natural problem solver who is positive in respect to change and trying different approaches and processes.
You'll also possess:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Business (or close to completion)
* Possess strong technical skills in analysis, forecasting and modelling
* Strong communicator with capacity to confidently present financial information to audiences not from a financial background
* High attention to detail, time management and planning skills
* Strong exposure and familiarity with SAP, MYOB and Excel
Highly Regarded
* CPA or CA completed
* Demonstrable experience leading, mentoring and coaching teams
