As a Senior Publications Business Partner, you will lead a small team responsible for technical aviation content, mixed media production, design, change management, editorial, and publishing support, with a focus on quality assurance and standardization. Your role involves authoring, editing, and publishing manual suites and notices across the business, including operating procedures, policies, processes, training, documentation, and system information, ensuring compliance and driving operational improvements.
Your portfolio will cover diverse operational areas such as Training, Flight Operations, Cabin Crew, Ground Operations, Freight, and Engineering.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Tertiary qualifications in communications, business, aviation management, change management, or related disciplines are highly regarded (or studying towards an appropriate discipline).
* Excellent literary aptitude with experience in technical writing and content development.
* Aptitude for technology, with experience in document management/delivery systems, software applications, and authoring tools such as MS Office, Adobe, InDesign, XML, and HTML.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, capable of communicating effectively across all levels of the organization, hosting meetings, committees, and workshops.
* Demonstrated leadership experience, with decision-making capabilities in complex environments.
* Ability to plan and manage performance targets.
* Detailed knowledge of CASA regulations and the ability to interpret legislative material is highly regarded.
* Availability to undertake 7 consecutive days of after-hours and weekend publishing, providing on-call support on a rotational basis approximately every 10-12 weeks.
