About the Role
The Warehouse Operator, Counter Sales role is a Full-time position based at Carrara, QLD. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.
Your hours are Monday to Friday, between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm, with the potential for 5:00 am starts.
In This Role You Will
4. Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
5. Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
6. Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
7. Unloading inbound orders of stock.
8. Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
9. Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
10. Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
11. Contribute to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.

12. Forklift licence and proven experience are essential.

15. An eagerness to learn about products and services.
16. Computer literacy and/or familiarity with POS systems will be highly regarded.
17. Excellent customer service & communication skills.
18. Confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
19. Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
20. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
